Baritone Ukulele

Hello all, I have recently completed my fourth ukulele. As I have now built my daughters one each, I thought I had better build myself one to play along with them. I had someone give me some Blackwood that had come down in a storm, nice long lengths that I then milled with my Alaskan mill.

Baritone Ukulele, scale length 535mm
The body is Blackwood
Neck is a combination of Tasmanian Myrtle, Jarrah and Claret Ash
Fretboard and Headstock plate are W.A. Sheoak
Binding is Tasmanian Myrtle and Claret Ash
Redgum bridge
Bracing is King Billy pine
Finished with shellac.

As this is only my fourth build I am pretty pleased with the way it has turned out. I still have a lot to learn though, all comments and critique welcome

But just a casual question:
Did you play with shape for tonal reasons or comfort.

It was a design that one of my daughters come up with. I have been rethinking the design and will go back to a traditional shape for the next one so I can work on a proper base to compare tone and resonance with. I certainly don’t pretend to know what I’m doing

I really like the multi-piece neck. The shape certainly is distinctive. How does it sound Cal?
