I received a set of LS redwood today, but it's shaped a bit irregularly. I know this can be an issue with some back sets as well. It tapped well enough (an understatement). What do we do in these situations?

In those circumstances I do a deflection test to derive the elastic constants. Adjust the supports so that the span covers just a regular shaped portion of the board.
