Doesn't time fly...

Post by Taffy Evans » Sun Aug 31, 2025 8:53 am

Hi, I was having a clean-up of the workshops the other week and was a bit surprised when I came across instruments that I had started but never got back to finish for whatever reason.

I build whenever there is a gap in the flow of repairs, so a build could be shelved for a few months during a busy repair period. Those are the builds that are not a commission.
I’m going to have to get my finger out if I’m going to get any of them completed.
1 x Solid body lap steel guitar.
1xTenor uke
1 x Solid body nylon guitar
1 x Parlor guitar
1 x Mountain Dulcimer [Started by my granddaughter, her 2nd one, aged 9 years. She now has kids of her own and runs her own business.]
2 x Resonator guitars
4 x Mandolins.
What am I doing sitting here….
Cheers Taff

Two unfinished Fleta classicals here.....halfway through making them I lost my mojo and ended up chucking the guitar making in. They're sitting in the empty workshop with a nearly finished Gore OM and the lute.
