First Falcate Guitar build
youtu.be/8O3JYp6vjtQ
This is my first 'Falcate' braced guitar build (12th fret at the body joint) that I started building January 2020 and completed two weeks ago. I did enjoy the challenge creating jig frames for the 'Primary' and 'Secondary' braces. First time working carbon fibre and using the 'West' epoxy glue. I made the bridge out of Indian Rosewood and followed the 'Gore / Gilet' build book to laminate a patch in the bridge.
I decided to use my 'GS' mold for this build and included a streamline bevel and made adjusts with the 'Falcate' bracing lengths on the bevel side. I have a made a photo Gallery / Specifications 'pdf' (Pages 1 to 4) of this guitar, refer to attachment and a video / audio recording (refer to link). As background for a portion of the you tube video some photos of our Alaska / Canada holiday in September 2019 are included.
For my first build of a 'Falcate' braced guitar I am very happy with the sound. I like the wide dynamic level range available for finger style playing.

Thanks for the comments about the falcate guitar build.
When playing single lead notes with this guitar, I like how full and rich in clarity they are. Looking forward to the next falcate build.
