Hey guys, new to the forum and new to luthiery. This is my first post. I am a carpenter by trade and went to a guitar course a year ago and haven't stopped since. Hopefully soon I will get some machinery to make life easier. At the moment am basically running with a makita power saw, jig saw, trimmer and orbital sander.
Here are some photos of latest build. (Learnt a lot on this one eg. Ebony dust can be a b!*#h)
White oak back and sides
White bait Huon pine soundboard
Ebony fretboard, binding, bridge, rosette
Headstock is Huon pine and ebony.
Silver quandong neck.
Gotoh tuners
Black tusq nut and saddle
Evo gold fretwire
Cheers Dean

Looks pretty nice Dean, the black and white combo is a winner I think ( not sure if your dog agrees
). Well done. Wayne

Very nice! I like the way the headstock, rosette and bridge all complement each other...
