Cook Woods
Re: Cook Woods
I've heard the name, but can't place it Liam. I'd ask on UU or PM one of the people in Oregon. Brad lives in Oregon and has been around the game for decades so most likely knows them well.
Re: Cook Woods
I haven't used them, but I haven't heard anything bad about them over the years.

Re: Cook Woods
Wood sizing looks incorrect on some of the pages... for arch tops anyway 7" wide boards doesn't give you much width at all nor does 20" length.

Re: Cook Woods
Hi there Liam.
I've purchased wood from Cook through Ebay, mostly dimensioned lumber . Most of the transactions have been smooth and the wood depicted was what I recieved. Had one run in with them when they "lost" the actual piece I bought and substituted with another that was so surfaced checked it was fire wood. Beautiful chunk of Padauk too, 9 inches wide by 84 inches long and nicely quartered. They ended up taking that back and found me something else. They covered the costs for all the extra shipping. I will buy from them again but will request better pics of the wood next time.
