Elevated Fretboard on Jumbo Guitar

Hi all,

Having been a lurker on this forum for a while now, I’ve decided it time to engage. I’m a relatively new luthier having built 2 Acoustic Guitars with BGMS - a parlour and a L-00.

I’m now building a Jumbo for my 3rd build with a few more challenges. One of those challenges is an elevated fretboard with bolt on neck.

Does anyone out there have experience with this and what are the key strategies that I need to consider to make it? You may well be asking ‘why?’ but I’d say ‘why not?’ I just at want to give it a go and challenge my luthier skills but also need a hand in doing so.
