Yesterday i was an attendee at the memorial gathering to celebrate the life of David Aumann who passed away three weeks ago, along with a couple of other contributers to this forum we were quite amazed at the number of people who were there to give David such a wonderful send off. I met David through this forum and because we lived only 15 minutes apart became pretty good friends, made a few shop visits and shared space at instrument shows together. David seems to have been quite a mover and shaker in the local music scene and over the years was the instigator of many music groups and bands most of whom were preset yesterday to sing his praises literally!
David was a very kind gentleman who made friends wherever he went and will be missed by all that knew him, Vale David Aumann.
Rod.

Sad to hear, Rod! It sounds like he lived a full life, though.

Very sad. I met David at the mgmf a few years back. I talked with him for quite a while. I’m sorry to hear he’s passed. Wayne
