Forum will be offline intermittently over the next few weeks

Hello all. Community service announcement time.

Due to instructions from "her indoors", my study/office where the ANZLF server lives has been slated for renovations next week.

That is the painters are coming in and I have to shift everything out whilst the work is done.

I'm going to take the opportunity to blow the dust out of everything and tidy things up a bit so there may be a few times over the next couple of weeks when the forum goes offline.

I have to shift everything to another room, re-connect the umbilical cords and re-commence business.

I also have to do a software update to the server sometime after the 23rd of August, there may be some outage around that time as well.

I don't think we'll be offline for too long but if the forum isn't available for short periods of time you'll know why.

This is where the forum server usually lives. All that's left is the cable modem.

This is it's temporary home.

And this is what I'm currently doing after all the work of shifting it.

The next "momentary lapse of reason" should occur on Wednesday or Thursday after the painters have finished.

Sorry Marty I fail to see any problem with that. We should all know by now that Bob knows best and if he has decided my post are worthy of a seperate machine then who am I to argue.

Must say Bob, you make many sacrifices for the greater cause and if I had my way you would be knighted mate.
