You are lucky he has such an interest. I have tried to get my son into guitar building but he has no interest at all.
It would be great to have all the time together in the shop but It's just not for him. Like John Hall said...cherish the time together.

I love 335's and I love sunbursts so I definitely love this guitar! I agree with all the others who approve of your fine burst and fine fit and finish.
Well, now I must put one of these on my "to build" list. I can see why you are so happy.
Congratulations Paul-fine work.

I've installed a number of the K&K mini/western and I have the Trinity System-2 channel in my
own L-OO. They are an excellent pickup system for acoustic guitar IMO.

What glue to use for teflon to wood?
Hey guys, I am making a caul for gluing down pickguards that have shrunk and curled up on older guitars. I want to glue on some teflon material like the stuff Stew Mac uses to make small "dams" to keep glue out of your fret slot. I need to know what kind of glue to use to glue this teflon to the woo...

Yeah, this is pretty much how I sharpen chisels Lillian except I go back And forward when honing(a bit quicker). But to start out I would do like this guy does-just hone back towards you. I used to use those hone guides too but after some practice, you shouldn't need them.I like the Norton water stones...

It's a fine little plane for brace shaving and other small tasks Lillian. It's very light
and easy to make but I have no time for that, so I bought one ...30 bucks I think it was.
