Re: Fitting a strap button to a charango?
Thanks Frank, that was the first kind of one I suggested but he and me thought that they were all the same this one you posted looks a little different. He was worried that if he let go it would just come crashing to the ground lol I guess getting older has it's drawbacks.

http://lospensamientosdehollow.blogspot.com.au/2012/01/por-que-pienso-que-este-luthier-te-va.html?m=1 While a guitar and Uke player, in the past I've been asked to play bass in several bands even though I hadn't a clue. There's a single stringed instrument in this lot I could have used as its all I...

Double Neck Guitar / Monkey Nut Maraca
A woodworker called Savvas Papasavva often has some humorous ideas when it comes to woodworking
and this double necked guitar is no exception.

Why violin-makers adopted the f-shaped hole
http://boingboing.net/2015/03/09/why-violin-makers-adopted-the.html Why did violins slowly develop f-shaped sound-holes? Because it makes them more acoustically powerful than their ancestors, which had holes shaped liked a circle -- as a team of MIT scientists recently concluded. Back in the the 10...

Re: How will changing scale length affect the sound
Hi Quinny, I'm a lefty, getting into building slowly and the uke is now my instrument of choice. Another Newbie
Hi my name is Luke (53yo) and I've played guitar on and off for years, and recently took to playing the Ukulele. I did this because of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dupuytren's_contracture in my right hand and find the smaller size of a uke much easier to play. I'm also lefty and have always had trou...
